Parking Meter Becomes Pilot of Jakarta One Card

The use of Electronic Parking Terminal (TPE) in the capital city will become a project pilot for use of Jakarta One Card.

According to Sunardi Sinaga, Head of Jakarta Parking's Public Service Agency (BLU), despite the parking meter payment has used e-money, but it also becomes pilot for Jakarta One Card.

"Through parking meter, we have minimized cash transaction, which means Jakarta One card is ready to be applied in the city," he expressed, Wednesday (2/10).

At this time, there have been six banks that issue electronic card and can be used to pay for the parking meter. This can facilitate the public if it has been integrated in Jakarta One card.

"Which means we are ready, where we already have facilities and its program can directly be used, yet it should be socialized first regarding its use," he stated.

As for the information, Jakarta One card is the individual card prepared as e-ID card, bus payment, flat payment, shopping, electronic road pricing (ERP) payment, until BPJS insurance payment.
